Our 100% wool filter pads capture airborne grease at source, helping to reduce accumulation in downstream ductwork. Naturally flame-resistant and biodegradable, the wool media offers a practical alternative to routinely washing conventional metal grease filters.
The reusable frames feature integrated handles for easy removal, allowing staff to replace the wool pad and refit the frame with minimal disruption.
Together, they simplify everyday filter maintenance while supporting essential extraction inspections and cleaning.
How it works
Wool grease filters capture airborne grease at the point of cooking, before it travels into the extraction ductwork. Regular filter changes keep the system clean and reduce fire risk.
Grease is captured
Cooking produces airborne grease particles. The wool filter pad captures these at source within the canopy.
Filter is replaced
When the pad is saturated, the baffle frame is removed, the wool filter swapped out, and the frame refitted — a straightforward process.
System stays clean
Regular filter changes limit grease build-up in the ductwork, supporting ongoing extraction inspection and cleaning programmes.
